The iconic Gibson Flying V basses were only produced in 1981 - and only 375 were manufactured!
So this is your chance to own an extremely rare piece of American Rock history-as seen in the Red Hot Chilli Peppers Danni California video.

Here I have a rare opportunity for some lucky bassist or collector. This is an all original ebony Gibson Flying V bass with original Hard Shell Case. She has been a player so she has seen some battles along the way but all her battle scars are superficial. There is paint worn and the odd small ding but structurally she is in mint condition. The neck is a set neck and is straight and super fast. Back of the neck is in excellent shape, as you can tell by one of the pics here, and the back of the body is good too with only minor buckle rash. I have uploaded pics of the headstock and twin points of this beast as these are the worst spots for damage but again it is just the paint, the wood is not compromised in any way at all. The bridge is in great condition as are the tuning machines and there haven't been any extra holes drilled out to move strap buttons and any of that nonsense. All pick-ups work with no problem as does the selector and two volume and one tone knobs. There is a little crackle from the pots when adjusting the knobs but again an easy fix. The only thing missing are 2 small screws that screw into the scratch plate but apart from that she is complete.
